Red Cap is a company active in the renewable energy and energy efficiency sector and is currently focused on developing a portfolio of large-scale wind energy projects in South Africa.  Red Cap has approached Evolution One Fund as a value added financing partner to provide both project development capital to develop the pre-permitted wind assets to permitted status, and project equity finance to construct, commission and operate the wind assets at project financial close.

Red Cap is currently developing three contiguous wind sites in the Kouga region of the Eastern Cape known as the Red Cap Kouga Wind Farm with a total potential of 300MW of wind power.
