The market readiness for improvements to air pollution controls and greenhouse gas emission reduction has matured to the extent that many new air pollution technology companies have been established in southern Africa. These companies have innovated local and tailored international technologies to suit regional industrial applications. Current tests are being conducted across South Africa for the potential of underground carbon sequestration as a means to combating rising emission levels from existing and planned power stations.
Inspired Evolution will seek to advise on investments in new projects that promote cleaner air environments, which reduce carbon, methane and other environmentally harmful emissions, and which through the Clean Development Mechanism (“CDM”) have the added potential to earn for their promoters tradable carbon credits that will increase their overall profitability.
